Did I enjoy this book? Yes. Did I love this book? No.

I would say this book is your very basic, easy summer chick-lit book with a vampire twist.

This book was humorous but very predictable. The only thing this book had going for it is that its main character, Jane Jamerson who is witty and funny. Outside of the main character, the rest of the book was predictable and flat.

I felt that this story could have been stronger with a little more character development, while also going into a little more details on the transition from human life to vampire life. This is a big transition, and I felt as though the author could have put a little more effort into this part of the book. Instead, you just got a book where the author told a story, and the main character just went along with it without really questioning anything, reflecting, or talking about her feelings or emotions through this whole transition.

I’ll probably give the second book a read to see if I want to continue with the rest of the series.
