I was hoping to give this a higher rating, but it fell a little flat. If I'm being honest it felt like a repeat of one of my university Women Studies classes that I took forever ago (just with a more personal twist). While this might be an enlightening read to others, it just didn't live up to the hype that everyone raved about.

Overall, it was an easy read (not great, but good), but I feel as though it could have impacted me more. I would have like to have gained more enlightenment from it in a way that would impact how I view the world and my current life - but it didn't. I had high hopes of finishing this book and feeling inspired - but it didn't. There were moments of "oh that's interesting" but that's about it.

For those who might not have a broad understanding of Women's Studies perhaps this would be an interested and insightful read, and maybe it would have a higher impact on your perspective.
